About

This page was last updated on 19 January 2019.

Hi! I’m Evan. This is my personal website, where you’ll find my perspectives on philosophical and social issues, as well as my data visualizations, software, and whatever else fascinates me.

If you’re looking to get a sense of my beliefs on important issues, I’ve written a brief summary of those here.

I graduated from Harvard in 2017 with a bachelor’s in economics and computer science. I recently left a program management role at Microsoft, and these days I’m studying consciousness (among other things) as I gear up for direct work or research relevant to effective altruism. I also enjoy meditating, rock climbing, listening to music, dabbling in languages, reading books, and playing music. You can find my resume here if you like.

Otherwise, please do head back to the homepage and see if anything catches your eye! And don’t hesitate to reach out; I’d be happy to hear any questions, comments, or concerns you have along the way.
